In a world where climate and the environment are the main topic of conversation, it requires thinking differently. Lechler has done that.
Lechler is expanding their product range with a new series with a very low environmental impact. Emissions reduction of up to 80% compared to a similar solvent-based process.
The AQUA-TECH process allows you to work with full respect for the surrounding environment and the operator, but without compromising the final quality of the repair.
The Lechler AQUA-Tech PROCESS consists of the following products
PRIMER FILLERS
HS611 – HYDROFAN 1K SEALER LIGHT GRAY which is a 1K primer filler / sealer for W/W and D/D “Full Water” painting processes. It is easy to apply, good adhesion to steel, EG and HDG galvanized steel sheet, aluminum and its alloys , fiberglass, old coatings, ABS and plastic underlay.
HS626 – HYDROFAN 2K HB SURFACER LIGHT GRAY is a 2k water-based light gray primer filler for dry-on-dry "full water" painting processes.
- Safe application (no popping)
- Good filling capacity and anti-corrosive effect; it can be applied as a sealer (½ + 1 layer and 40-60µ film thickness) and as a primer filler (up to 3 layers, with film thickness up to 150µ)
- Good drying speed, which ensures very good grinding
- Significant reduction of overspray and odor during application

BASECOAT
HYDROFAN HE BASECOAT SYSTEM is the extremely excellent water-based basecoat range that allows you to achieve maximum efficiency, performance and simplicity as with solvent-based products. What is unique about the Lechler HE base color system is that the tone colors are ready to use and do not require a system with a stirrer. The base color system can be used for cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. The system consists of a compact selection of tone colours, which are available in different packaging (1 litre, 0.5 liter and 0.25 litre). With Lechler HE basecoat, you can mix both paints in both metallic, mother-of-pearl, solid and effect colours.
CLEARCOAT
HC200 - HYDROFAN 2K HI-TECH CLEARCOAT is a 2K water-based quick-drying clearcoat with a high aesthetic aspect.

Repair with very low environmental impact
The minimization of the VOC content throughout the Aqua-Tech process leads, in addition to ensuring a very low environmental impact, to an improvement of the entire working environment thanks to less aggressive odors and reduction of possible allergic reactions.
From a social perspective, the limitation of the fire risk and the reduced emissions to the atmosphere are also positive consequences, which are not insignificant. The AQUA-TECH process allows you to work with full respect for the surrounding environment and operators without compromising the final quality of the repair.
