How to use Autoglym Liquid Clay

Video by Autoglym

Autoglym Liquid Clay

A ready-to-use product that effectively loosens deposits that settle onto vehicle surfaces, such as metal particles (fly rust) and other airborne industrial contaminants. The product changes color when it is ready to be washed / rinsed off. Can be used for both the vehicle body and wheels. After washing / rinsing, all contamination has been removed from the paint, and the surface is ready for polishing. Ideal for use before polishing paint.

Here's how to do it

  1. Wash the car and remove any heavy soiling/tar.
  2. Ensure that the surfaces to be treated are cool to the touch. Spray Liquid Clay on paint and rims.
  3. Let the product work for about 5 minutes, but without letting it dry on the paint.
  4. If necessary, work the product carefully onto surfaces using a wash glove or rim brush; otherwise simply rinse with a high-pressure washer.
  5. Wash afterwards with Autoglym Car Shampoo.

Worth noting

  • Safe to use.
  • PH-neutral.
  • Changes color as it reacts with impurities.
  • New and improved fragrance.
  • Always test the product on a less visible area before applying to larger areas.
  • Do not use in direct sunlight or on warm/hot paint.
  • Do not dry.
  • Wash thoroughly after application.
